[Installation Example] Treatment of Fluoride-Containing Wastewater
Suspended solids are captured by the bag filter! The treated water is released after passing through the neutralization tank, resulting in fluorine-treated terrace.
At Kurose Co., Ltd., we were processing with simple equipment but were considering a more environmentally friendly processing method. Therefore, we installed equipment that includes an additional fluorine treatment terrace to reduce fluorine levels below regulatory limits. After implementation, the levels of fluorine and its compounds were 0.5 mg/L, BOD was 21 mg/L, and nitrogen content was 25.1 mg/L. The sludge removal from the bag filter is now done about once a month, and the replacement of the terrace is done about once every six months, reducing the operational burden. [After Implementation] - Fluorine and its compounds at regulatory levels: 0.5 mg/L, BOD: 21 mg/L, nitrogen content: 25.1 mg/L - Sludge removal from the bag filter approximately once a month - Terrace replacement approximately once every six months - Reduced operational burden *Excerpt from the "Case Studies of Water Treatment Technology for Small and Medium Enterprises" published by the Kinki Bureau of Economy, Trade and Industry *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
